Toronto Chapter of Canada Green Building Council celebrated its achievements with the 1st grand Gala themed "Where adaptive reuse meets sustainable design". This big event was all about green, local and eco-conscious; starting with the venue - a designated heritage site Wychwood Barns seeking LEED certification - through locally sourced organic food and literally Toronto backyards grown flowers.

Green and modern design was at heart of the Gala planning. Toronto interior design firm tulip design was responsible for the event's eco design, including: colour palette development, space planning, materials and furniture selection, sourcing of flowers, project management and even Gala marketing.

The Gala proved to be a huge success where close to 400 people celebrated green buildings and eco awareness. Upscale but at the same time minimal design created a positive ambience where people felt energized, enjoyed sumptuous food, mingled and, in general, had a wonderful time.
